| The field work for the Thalassoma - Kudoa project was done on Crawl Caye, a small island in the Bocas del Toro province, Panamá. It was the most wonderful, but also the most intense field work that I've done to date. Whenever there were no chitras (very small, but highly irritating, biting Diptera) we thought we were in heaven. But if they were there, and they were there a lot, we knew we were in hell. |
