Master student in the group of Walter Salzburger. Works on the evolution of notothenioid fishes.
Notothenioids represent an adaptive radiation of teleost fishes in the cold waters surrounding Antarctica.
They are morphologically and ecologically diverse and provide information to derive a unique marine modelling
system for mechanisms of adaptive diversification and specialization in geographically isolated areas.
For my master project I will examine the foraging patterns and trophic relationships from represantives of
different families of notothenioids and compare these findings with their phylogeny for an integrated
analysis of diversification.
I like travelling, different sports like biking and diving and spending time with my family and friends.
